I want to lose 70 pounds. My diet plan of choice is the hCG diet. Even with the possiblity of losing up to a pound a day I still struggle at times. My journey is not so pretty, but I'm determine to achieve my goal.

WilPower
My hubby request his favorite and mine too...Homemade cut up French Fries and Fried Fish. Ok, when I tell you it took all I had not to eat even one of those fries...whew, I tell you.My kids didn't eat all their food and I'm so use to eating their food too out of habit, but i had to use ever ounce of willpower not to do it. This has been a somewhat tough day for me. It seems like my mind is processed to know its the weekend some how and I just want to have my favorite weekend foods. It's gonna be a long weekend and to think we're expecting more snow so that means I won't be out and about as much. {{{taking a deep breath}}} I think I know why I'm hunger today. When I made that good chilli yesterday I used 100 grams of lean beef in it and it made 2 servings. Instead of having another 100grams of (approved) protein I just ate the other serving of chilli. Needless to say, I won't do that again. Enough ranting... I'm gonna make it through this night without cheating. I'm determined !!!
Phase 2 Friendly Recipe Savory Onion Caramelized Shrimp Review
This is a very tasty dish. It lives up to it's name of being "SAVORY" and that it is. I may have cooked the shrimp too long but they were still good and not gummy like typical over cooked shrimp. I would suggest that once your liquids are brought to a boil to put your onions in right away. Over all I really enjoyed it and wish there was more of it to eat.
Recipe Grade: B (not very filling) eat it on a day your not that hungry.
Savory Onion Caramelized Shrimp
100 grams shrimp
Sliced onion cut into rings
1/4 cup water
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Bragg's liquid aminos
vanilla flavored liquid stevia to taste *
salt and pepper
*I used a couple drops of Loann's vanilla flavor and stevia
Directions
Heat all liquid ingredients on high in a small pan. Add stevia, salt, pepper, onion, and shrimp. deglaze with a little water several times to create a caramelized sauce (i forgot to follow this part). makes 1 protein, 1 vegatable.

And Guess WHAT....I'm DOWN 1.2 this morning for a total of 8.2lbs RELEASED. I'm so happy right now and very proud of myself. I hope to hit my 10 mark by MONDAY. Root for me please. Tell me...What other diet can you go on and lose almost 10 lbs in this short amount of time. I feel good physically too. I'm not low on energy, my mind is clear, and I'm NOT HUNGRY...nope, not one bit. Yesterday I made some really good hCG friendly chilli and it was Awesome. I'm gonna have shrimp and cabbage soup and meatloaf today. This will be my first time trying the meatload. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes. Cheers!

VlCD #4 Release update
I woke up to a release of .8 this morning. It's amazes me that while on hCG you can tend to get spoiled with high numbers that .8 is nothing. I WANT 1 point somethings!!! I did not cheat whatsoever, I did use Amlactin Lotion yesterday which I've never used before while on P2. Overall .8 is still good and i wouldn't blame anything on the Amlactin. So Far for 3 days Ive lost 7 pounds. That's still awesome!!! I do need to order me some coconut oil. I find that when I'm on P2 and I add coconut oil to my diet I lose my 1 point somethings everyday. I tried ordering from Vitacost.com last night but something was wrong with their site. I guess I'll try again. I'm also looking forward to next week when I start vlogging again. HCG Youtubers are releasing like crazy!

Phase 2 Soup Tip
Living in the Northeast especially this week has been super cold and snowy. I couldn't find a better way to warm up than with a bowl of P2 friendly soup. I made some spicey cabbage soup with no meat in it. The soup will serve as like a base for any meat I want to add. That way I won't have to keep making new batches of soup every time. I made enough to last 3 or 4 days. Today i baked my chicken breast and chopped it up and added it to my soup and let it sit so the chicken can soak up all the juices. And BABY...It was so good. I think this soup will be good with shrimp and beef in it. Welp, hope the tip will help you save some time and energy. Oh...I almost forgot to share the recipe.
I cut a half of a small cabbage and chopped it into small pieces, I added about 24 oz of water, spices, 1 clove of garlic, 1 small onion, salt & pepper and brought it to a boil then covered and let it simmer for about 45 mins.

Eating On P.O.P
Yes! Another day of eating on POP. The reason I keep mentioning this is I can't believe it myself. In my previous attempts on the hCG protocol I've cheated almost from day 1. I'm proud of myself so far. I don't know what has come over me, but i'm ready to WORK this protocol. Oh and P.O.P stands for Proper Order Protocol...so I'm Pop'n : )
I'm Rockin it Out!!!
Today is VLCD #3 and I woke up to a release of 2.8 this morning. That brings my total weight loss for 2 days to 6.2...(what you talkin bout Willis) YEEEESSSS!!!!! I'm feeling very optimistic right now and determine to have another day of clean eating. I just gotta keep focused. I've said this many times before but there is nothing like DAILY WEIGHT LOSS. I Love it!!!
