I want to lose 70 pounds. My diet plan of choice is the hCG diet. Even with the possiblity of losing up to a pound a day I still struggle at times. My journey is not so pretty, but I'm determine to achieve my goal.

My take on Apple Cider Vinegar
Ok...I hope that this stuff really works because it was still now easy to get down. The stevia helped a little with the taste, but once it got to my throat it burned a little. I won't be chugging it down that's for sure. I only had one 8oz glass and took my time drinking it. I'm gonna have to step my game up a notch if I expect any benefits to come from it.

Apple Cider Vinegar
I have a bottle of ACV in my fridge now and I must say, it's not my favorite. The taste is very bitter and strong. I've used it on my salads, I've drank it in water and I'm still not fond of it. After reading and being reminded of it's benefits I'm gonna give it a try AGAIN. Here's what was suggested to me; put 3 tsp of ACV in 8 ounces of water (preferably spring water) with a little stevia for taste. I'm gonna try it!!! ACV is said to help with my main focus weight loss. Also I've read it helps with lower blood pressure and cholesterol.

It's more to dieting than just losing weight
In my case this is so true. Here I have the best diet ever (in my opinion), I can knock out 40 pounds in 40 days and yet I fumbled. I know this diet works because I'm come so far, but I still have a ways to go. In an ideal scenario I could have gone through 2 rounds on the hCG diet and be 60-80 pounds lighter and feeling GOOD and yet I still have 50lbs to go. WHY?!? Because I haven't prepared myself mentally for daily challenges that all dieters face. Many think it's a matter of willpower and that may be the case, but I have 0 in that department. In the next several weeks I'll be working on a series of internal improvements both mentally and physically. I'm addicted to junk foods and unhealthy sugars and as i'm reading more and more information I've decided to do a number of things to cleanse myself or rid myself of toxins and such. I'm also going to work on a number of Behavior Modifications that I think is very important for all future dieters. It won't be pretty, but I'm sure it's going to be effective.
Can I just use hCG drops and lose weight...
After a week or so of not saying anything I suddenly have a lot to say...hehehe
As I talk about my journey on the hcg diet with others many want to know how is it possible to lose weight daily. They think it's some miracle pill or something. Most think that they can just buy hcg drops, use it ,and lose weight. NO, NO, NO it doesn't work like that! hCG drops are a tool that goes hand and hand with the hCG diet. There is no one without the other when speaking in terms of losing weight. You can't just use the hCG drops and adopt your own meal plan like with other diet products. The hCG diet will help you to lose weight only if you follow the diet as it was written by Dr Simeons'. Granted there are some ways to bypass alot of the rules that are outlines in Pounds & Inches, but to truly be successful and reset your metabolism following the diet is very important.

What you need to know about Phase 1 of the hCG Diet?
Many of us are always talking about Phase 2 and 3 of the hCG protocol but numero uno is often not mentioned. Phase 1 was created by Kevin Trudeau and is futher talked about in his book, "Weight Loss Cures". It's actually a bunch of do's and don't and cleases that are said to increase your results or increase your chances for success during phase 2. I have never done any of the 60 things that are apart of phase 1, but to increase my success my next round I'm planning on implementing several of them. I'm going to try to do as many as I can for at least 30 days before I load again and go into another round. Keep in mind Phase 1 is not just for hCG dieters be can be done by anyone whether they're dieting or not. Over the course of the week I'm going to list a few at a time from the 60 and at the end mention which ones I plan to do.
Phase 1
1. Water: It's said that fat people are dehydrated. Drink one large glass of water immediately when you wake up and one-half to a gallon throughout the day. Water such as Fiji, and Evian spring water are mentioned in the book to be best. never drink tap water due to the cholorine, flouride, and other contaminates.
2. Walk: I like this because strengous exercise is not mention lol. BUT it says that you should walk daily for 1 hour non-stop. This is not power walking. You can walk at your own pace, but it must be done outside. Slow, rhythmic movement is key.
3.Extra Virgin Raw Coconut Oil: One I just mention with the coco delight. Use when cooking foods, including veggies. 2 teaspoons per day. It's proven to stimulate metabolism, improve digestion, and help with fat cells. It's also said to gently stimulate the thyroid.
4. Colonics: This WILL be one of my things to try. A colonic is similar to a high enema. It gently flushes the colon with water eliminating impacted fecal matter and toxins. Cleaning the colon is absolutely vital for weight loss and good health. A clean colon means improved digestion, better absorption of nutrients, increased energy and mental clarity, and a general overall improvement of health. A colonic should be done by a licensed colon therapist. I found one in my local yellow pages and it will cost approx $60. And NO a laxative will not do. I want to have 5 prior to my next round.
5. Apples: Eat a minimum of two organic apples every day. This will help regulate blood sugar, reduce appetite, and increase cleasing of the liver, gallbladder, and colon. I will try organic apples.
6. Grapefruit: Eat a minimum of 2 organic grapefruits daily. Enzymes in grapefruit are proven to release fat. Look at the logic behind the grapefruit diet. I probably won't try organic grapefruits because regular one shld do just fine. They have thick skin anyway.

Chocolate Delight
For some, Chocolate Delight is a treat only to be indulged in during Phase 3. For many, including myself a couple pieces seems to increase my daily weight loss during Phase 2. When I originally started making Chocolate Delight it was very bitter and nasty, but now I've gotten the recipe just like I want it. I usually have one small piece three times a day. Here's how I make my Chocolate Delight
(What ever amount of ChocDel you make you should have equal parts coconut oil and coco powder)
Chocolate Delight Recipe
1 Cup Coconut oil (slightly melted)
1 Cup Unsweetened Coco powder
6 packets of Stevia
1/4 teaspoon of Vanilla Flavor
1 tablespoon of Agava Nectar (purchase at walmart)
Dash of Cinnamon
Pinch of Salt
English Toffee Liquid Stevia (optional)
macadamia nuts I crush mine and sprinkle on top of my chocolate mixture
Mix all ingredients together. Put in your choice of candy molds or like I did in the above pictures. Place in the fridge and cool until hard.
Chocolate delight can ONLY be kept in the fridge so that it won't melt. Thanks Delmem for creating Choc Delight!
Please leave me a comment on what you think of this chocolate treat. Happy Releases : )
Enjoy!!!
I am down but not out...
What matters when your down or in the case of dieting when you cheat is to NEVER give up. So I'll be the first to say...I've had a relapse lol and I know why. It's that TOM and I can't stand it. Like a week or so before he comes I have no restraints. Everything is go go go, eat eat eat and then all of a sudden TOM comes and there is a certain calm that I get. When that's the point where I am now. I'm much more level headed and composed. I have not gained any additional weight but I do feel bloated, as to be expected. This week is my last week on VLCD and I'll be going into phase 3 of the hCG diet. I'm looking forward to exercising like I've said before, which is very different for me. I'm gonna try ZUMBA...ZUMBA here I come.
