R? P2 D4

I released 1.2lbs with just 4 hrs sleep. I will take it!!! I got up an it seemed like I didn't pee a long time like I usually do when I have a release, so I assumed i hadn't lost a thang. Then 4 hours later after laying in bed hoping and pray for a release i went to pee again for 2 seconds. I was thinking , "here we go! it's gonna be 1 lb increase". I'm oh so glad that it wasn't. Sleep is very important on this protocol. I got a little carried away with the Tea yesterday, but that won't happen again.

I Can't Sleep!

I've been up since 4am. Please let me go back to sleep. I really want to release some of this fat in a few hours. A couple things that I did last night was eat my meal very late last night. I didn't eat dinner until 1030. I know I know, but I was very busy yesterday. I ate chicken breast and grilled banana peppers. I forgot to drink my chamomille tea before bed too. Whatever happens I'll be sure to keep ya posted.

Food is calling me...

Help!!!!  Tell this food to stop talking to me.(talk about a food addict)  Everytime I go in the kitchen voices come from my cupboards and fridge. lol  My cupboards day, " Hello HCG lady, I have Pepperidge farm Chessman cookies in here. Come and get them, matter of fact, eat the whole bag so you can just get it out of your system."  Then my Freezer says, "I have you favorite SUPERMAN icecream. Grab a cone and get some." Ugh, the struggles of fathood. ei-ei-i . Today I'm so hungry! I can't wait for this week to be over and done with. The first week is always the hardest.

I released 2 lbs this morning! Gotta love the mornings when you actually don't mind getting up to pee : )

The benefits of Tea/coffee on the hCG Protocol

Simply put...Tea/Coffee is your best friend on this diet. Why? Because there are a variety of flavors that can help curb your desire to cheat. There is jasmine, peach, rasberry, lemon, blueberry, apple & cinnomon. You can drink them hot or iced. You have them with stevia or without. I personally LOVE tea.  I've always enjoyed drinking tea and I don't really need any sweetner. I find that tea is especially satisfying on this diet and it keeps me from getting bored.  Right now I'm trying a new tea Chai Tea India spice. This tea is so good. A word of caution, be sure to read the labels of you flavored tea, many of them have sugars in them.

R(gazillion) P2 Day 2

Boy oh boy!!! The first few days to a week on this protocol is miserable. I had to fight hunger and control my frustrations yesterday and it wasn't easy. I'm snacker to my heart. I love chips, cookies, cake, candy, etc, those things actually brink me comfort so not having my crutch made me Oscar the grouch. On top of that TOM is in the building, ugh. I did well up until dinner time for my family. I made them salmon crouquette, rice, and peas. My son started to fan is mouth saying the salmon was spicy, so out of instinct I picked up the pattie and took a bite. And another bite. And another bite...there I'm done. I felt so gulity and disappointed in myself. I was hoping i didn't have to suffer for my mistake and guess what?!?! I didn't! I released 2.6 lbs this morning!!!!!! I can't help but wonder if another pound would have been in the works if it weren't for my cheating.

One Day at a Time

I'm not alcoholic nor am I a drug addict, but this round of hCG I'm gonna use this saying.  My goal is to do a 40 day round. Day one starts today, VLCD 1.  I've started and stop this day plenty of time on VLCD. WHY? Most of the time I would tell myself, "This will be Load Day 3" and never recover from it.  Well today, I'm going to stick to plan. I did not gain any weight from my loading 2 days. I'm totally okay with that. Oh well, here we go folks...

Loading Day #2/How to load for hCG?

Ummmmm, What have I eaten so far?!?!?!  Let's see... I've had mac nuts, bacon, hashbrowns with lots of butter, ice cream, gouda cheese and crackers, and fried cheese with hot peppers.  And I'm NOT done yet!!!

One of the reasons I list what foods I'm eating on my load days is that sooo many people wonder what to eat on their load days.  I've done load days before and focus all of my attention on foods I won't be able to eat while on P2, but most of everything was mostly carbs and not enough fat. Don't make this same mistake. Don't just focus on fast foods either. If you load correctly, you won't  have the desire for the foods you can't have during p2. Focus on healthy fat mostly or simply follow an Atkins type diet for your two days of loading.

Load day #1

...Yes, I'm starting another round : ) I can't wait to get back on the only diet that works for me. 
I was debating on if I should even load. I'm afraid of my scale again and I didn't want to see it go up any higher than what I am now although I know the benefits of a good load. So at about 4pm I decided to load and make it count. I had already had supermen icecream, so I may as well get something out of it.  My goal during loading is to load on good fats(i guess). So far I've had tons of macamdamia nuts, I had a turkey sandwich with lots of mayo, chocolate whole milk, a big juice fattening new york strip with butter, and for snack I'll have gouda cheese and cracker and ice cream. Hmmmmmm hmmmmmmm.....I'm stuffed!  Happy Loading Ya'll!!!
