All This Time...

All this time I never knew anyone cared about my blogs, but I've gotten the most inspiring comment yet. Sometimes the encourager needs encouragement and I have received it. Thank you so much. There was a time I was wondering if I should delete my blog until I do better on the diet and then I received the will to keep going. Ironically I started VLCD 1 today and now I have a smile on my face waiting for tomorrows results. We're gonna kick butt Amber!!!! : )

  1. Thanks so much for the shout out girl! I'm excited for you today! Believe it or not I've learned to be something of what you called an HCG rebel. I have been doing an "experiment" for the last few days. I have been drinking Atkins shakes 2x a day, and then a meal of chicken or shrimp mixed with the "allowed" veggies and there is a killer southwest sauce sold in Wal Mart's deli that I miss about a table spooon with (it's made from peppers) It has less than one gram of carb per serving and OMG talk about making meals SO different. Just remember. So far it's really done the trick! To protein shakes are actually yummy *Tastes like nesquick, no joke!) But you have to make sure to shake it up really great. It really helped me separate food from joy to just straight out nourishment. I drink a bottle of water before the shake, and after. The mainly liquid diet with the actual solid meal has really helped me feel cleaner, lighter and even made my TOM weight gain only about a pound. I started 3 days early as of yesterday but it's been so cramp free and gentle. The shakes are packed with protein! I am so excited about this! You and I have the same length to go. So let's make a pact to keep each other in check every day. And PS totally taboo from the HCG diet protocol I read some of LL Cool J's book that suggested at least one load day a week, and then snapping right back to normal mode. This has worked well ,, and its always on a different day (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) Last weekend it was pizza and hot and spicy boneless wings, and a lava cake from dominoes and I still dropped five pounds for the entire week! This diet is really effective, yes but there are certain ways and we can add and take away to it to help us mentally and physically without falling off the bandwagon. Now, the load day doesn't mean eating all day, but having one meal in a single sitting that you just eat a lot of in one sitting, not an all day thing. That treat was three slices of meat lovers, five big boneless chicken and the lava cake mmmm so delicious. It took me about an hour and I dipped it all in ranch! lol I mean it felt good to give myself a break from the norm and the next day ready to hope right back on and like I said in spite of TOM I still lost weight! I am not working out at all and spent most of the weekend snuggled up keeping warm from the snow. It's been awesome. Hubby even is chasing me down like a pup with two peters like. It's so neat! I am so proud of you, inspired and so excited. You are going to do it, I know you will. We have each other, and someone else to answer to than the scale! <3 I have mad love for you girl. We're going to be skinny gals by April 1st, guarantee it if we just stick together! <3 Amber

  2. LL COOL J!!! He tried hCG, are you serious! I like that idea about a 1 day every week. Maybe I'll try that in a couple of weeks. Sounds like you've learned how to tweek the diet to your liking. I've tried the protein shakes too on the diet. I have some many from all they diets I've tried and refuse to let them go to waste. I still managed to release when I drank them so I have one every now and then. You're so right Girl... We're gonna be skinney gals! I sho don't want to be a fatty again this summer, WHEW NO!!! Thanks for being my supporter. Do you have a blog?
